Description

Alpha Compact alternators are designed to deliver continuous high power output for energy storage applications. When paired with Alpha Pro regulators, they create a high-performance, plug-and-play charging solution that is compatible with all battery types, including Lithium-ion. These automotive-style alternators offer significant advantages, including the option to add an Alpha Compact as a second alternator via the Power Take Off (PTO) option or replace the stock alternator with a more powerful, MasterBus-enabled 3-step charger. Compared to conventional alternators, the Alpha Compact is lighter, more compact, and consumes less fuel, thanks to its open construction with double internal fans and an integrated temperature sensor that controls the operating temperature. Available in 12 V and 24 V versions, the Alpha Compact series provides flexibility for various applications, and is especially suited for Volvo Penta engines with models featuring the “VP” suffix.
