• Integrated AIS
  The B&G V60 range includes options with Class B AIS functionality. The V60 model features an AIS receiver, while the V60-B has both a receiver and a transmitter. This integration allows the radio to receive information about other AIS-equipped vessels and transmit your own vessel's position. This enhances visibility and safety, as other mariners can detect your boat in various conditions, both day and night. AIS data can be viewed directly on the radio's screen or overlaid on a compatible chartplotter or radar screen for comprehensive situational awareness.

• Removable Fist Microphone
  The V60 and V60-B come with a removable fist microphone that can be connected to either the front or rear of the radio. This feature provides flexibility in installation, allowing the radio to be mounted in locations that are most convenient for your setup, such as overhead, while keeping cables neatly managed. • Navigation Mode & MOB Function

This mode helps you track and navigate back to the position where the MOB event occurred. The MOB waypoint is also transmitted over the NMEA 2000 network, ensuring all connected devices are updated.

  The Track Buddy feature enables you to track the position of up to five other VHF radios. By entering the MMSI numbers of these radios into your contact list, the V60/V60-B will periodically request their positions.
