Pole Mount Bracket HS75

The Pole Mount Bracket for the HS75 features a standard 1" - 14 TPI thread, designed for secure and stable mounting on 1-inch poles. The installation process is straightforward: first, screw the jam nut onto the pole, then attach the pole mount bracket, ensuring it is tightened to a maximum torque of 5.4 Nm (4 lbs-ft). For optimal cable management, route the NMEA 2000 drop cable through either the hollow pole or the opening in the bracket. Connect the cable to the HS75 unit and secure the bracket using the provided hardware. Tighten to a torque of 11 - 13 Nm (8 - 10 lbs-ft), ensuring that the maximum thread depth engagement does not exceed 12 mm (0.50 inches) to prevent over-threading.
Installation Steps
1. Prepare the Pole:

• Screw the jam nut onto the 1-inch pole.

• Next, screw the pole mount bracket onto the pole. Note: Do not tighten the bracket beyond 5.4 Nm (4 lbs-ft).

2. Cable Routing:

• Feed the NMEA 2000 drop cable through one of the following:

• The hollow pole.

• The opening in the pole mount bracket.

3. Mounting the HS75:

• Connect the NMEA 2000 drop cable to the HS75.

• Secure the pole mount bracket to the HS75 using the provided mounting hardware.

• Tighten the hardware to a torque of 11 - 13 Nm (8 - 10 lbs-ft). Important: Ensure the maximum thread depth engagement is no more than 12 mm (0.50").

4. Finalize Installation:

• Verify the orientation of the HS75 to ensure it is correctly positioned.

• Tighten the jam nut to the bottom of the pole mount to secure the bracket in place.
