Description
- An "Elbow 90 deg. 1/2" F-F" refers to a specific type of pipe fitting used to change the direction of a pipe or tubing by 90 degrees.
- Elbow 90 deg.: This indicates that the fitting is an elbow and that it has a 90-degree bend or angle. In other words, it allows you to change the direction of a pipe or tubing by a right angle, which is typically 90 degrees.
- 1/2": The "1/2 inch" measurement specifies the size of the pipes or tubing that this elbow is designed to connect to. In this case, it's suitable for pipes or tubing with a 1/2-inch diameter.
- F-F: "F-F" stands for "female-female." This means that both ends of the elbow have female threads, allowing you to connect it to other fittings or components with male threads.
- This type of elbow is commonly used in plumbing and piping systems to create 90-degree turns while maintaining a continuous flow of fluids. The female threads on both ends enable you to connect it to other pipes or fittings with male threads, ensuring a secure and leak-resistant connection.
