The Webasto BlueCool P168 Q is a professional marine chiller designed for medium-sized to large yachts requiring centralised climate control across multiple cabins. Installed within the vessel’s machinery space, it circulates chilled water or a water-glycol mixture to individual air handlers throughout the accommodation areas.

Providing a nominal cooling capacity of 168,000 BTU/h (49.2 kW), this model uses multiple scroll compressors and independent cooling circuits to support reliable, staged operation. Its reverse-cycle function provides both cooling and heating, while the tropical configuration uses enlarged condensers to maintain dependable performance in regions where seawater temperatures may exceed 32°C.

The unit operates on a 400 V three-phase electrical supply and uses R407C refrigerant. High-efficiency heat exchangers, durable marine-grade construction and conveniently positioned water connections support installation and long-term operation aboard demanding marine applications.
